Saturday, February 6, 2010

Google is offering surfers the change to store any file of less than 250MB in the 'cloud' using its Google Docs service.

google Docs already lets you create documents, such as spreadsheets and presentations, and store them in the cloud so that they can be edited by others and accessed from any computer.

"You'll be able to upload and access your files from any computer - all you need is an internet connection," said Vijay Bangaru, product manager for Google Docs. In all, Google is offering 1GB of storage space for free to host any file that isn't in a native Google format. You can buy additional storage for $0.25 (around 15p) per GB per year.
